Rebel Radio League Predictions

While City may have started their league season by reclaiming the President's Cup, the official start of the League of Ireland season is this Friday.

We have decided to let you know what we think is going to happen over the next eight months or so, league wise anyway.

We’ll start with the oldest, Kev. Galv thinks that Cork City will be lifting the league title come seasons end, with Dundalk finishing second, and Derry City take the final European place. Finn Harps, Galway United and Drogheda United are his picks relegated to the First Division:

Kevin Galvin League of Ireland Table 2017

1. Cork City 2. Dundalk 3. Derry City 4. Shamrock Rovers 5. Sligo Rovers 6. Bohemians 7. Bray Wanderers 8. St Patrick's Athletic 9. Limerick 10. Finn Harps 11. Galway United 12. Drogheda United

Up next is Dave. After much thought, Kento also agreed that City were going to win the league, while Dundalk claim second, while Stephen McPhail guides Shamrock Rovers to 3rd. Kento has also gone for a shock at the end of the table, as he predicts that St. Patrick's Athletic will go down, alongside Galway United and Drogheda United.

Last but not least, Colm gave his predictions. He (surprise surprise) has also tipped City to win the league, with Dundalk coming up the rear. He also thinks Limerick will grab the final European spot. He also thinks that Finn Harps, Drogheda United and Galway United will be taking their place in the First Division for the 2018 season.
